Unpopular opinion: The NHS needs more managers & IT, not less, to improve efficiency & effectiveness. When I was treated for lymphoma, the biggest problem was integrating departmental comms. It was often left to me to ensure (for example) haematology knew what radiology was planning & vice-versa 1/2
